Yes! In fact, it’s one of the best things you can do for your body. Strengthening your core and pelvic floor will help alleviate pregnancy pains (think back pain, round ligament pain etc) and put you in the best possible place for postpartum recovery!
Yes and no. If you jump back into working out and you are sprinting, doing sit ups and leg lifts then yes, you could make your DR worse. But working out the right way, is the only way to heal it! With Diastasis Recti we aren’t as concerned about the distance between your core, we are more concerned with the depth and the strength. Depth and strength tell us how much control you have when it comes to pressure (think coughing, sneezing, running, jumping).
No. Discomfort is normal during pregnancy but pain is not. Pain is common when the core (center of our body) is not strong enough to handle the load of a growing baby. This is why building strength is SO important!
Yes, absolutely. This program will actually help reduce and even eliminate leakage entirely. Each workout is designed to strengthen the pelvic floor and deep core. You will also see the cool down helps relax the pelvic floor. A tight pelvic floor is often the cause of leakage, believe it or not!
